Simple Rain Detector

This project is a a very simple rain detector.

When a drop of water hits the rain sensor board overlapping two neighboring strips, they create a bridge where current can flow so the LED turns on.

The Circuit

When the two inputs of the rain sensor connected, (ie when a raindrop lands and overlaps two strips, current flows to the transistor turning it ON. When the transistor is ON, current can flow through the LED, lighting it up.
