DC Motor
Layout symbol
Spins when DC voltage is applied, and reverses if you swap the wires. It draws far more current than a microcontroller pin can supply, especially when starting, so drive it with a transistor or MOSFET (with a diode across the motor), or with an H-bridge like the L298N to control direction.
