4-bit arithmetic logic unit (ALU): Performs one of 16 logic operations (M high) or 16 arithmetic operations (M low) on two 4-bit numbers A0–A3 and B0–B3, chosen by S0–S3, with the result on F0–F3. Cn and Cn+4 are the carry in and out, P and G feed a 74S182 look-ahead carry chip, and A=B is an open-collector equal output. It works with active-high or active-low data; the overbars follow TI's active-low pin labels. The classic ALU of 1970s minicomputers. Comes in a wide (0.6") 24-pin DIP.
