IR Receiver Module
Schematic symbol
Receives signals from infrared remote controls. It has three pins (output, ground and power, but the order differs between models), and the output goes low while it sees IR light blinking at its carrier frequency, usually 38 kHz. Connect the output to a microcontroller and decode it with a library such as IRremote.
