Variable Resistor - IEC
Schematic symbol
Symbol for a resistor whose value changes, either adjusted by hand or by a physical effect, as with flex and force sensors. To read a sensor like this with a microcontroller, put it in a voltage divider with a fixed resistor and measure the middle point with an analog input.
