Schematic symbol
Two independent 64-stage shift registers that move data one step along on each clock pulse. Taps after the 16th, 32nd, 48th and 64th stages can be read out or used to load data, and the 3-state outputs can connect to a shared bus. Good for delaying digital signals or storing a long stream of bits.
