Trimpot for breadboard

Layout symbol

Small trimmer potentiometer that fits in a breadboard, adjusted with a small screwdriver and usually set once rather than turned often. The full resistance sits between the two outer pins, and the middle pin (the wiper) moves along it. Connect all three as a voltage divider to get an adjustable voltage, or use the wiper and one outer pin as a variable resistor. Learn more about potentiometers
