Battery
Schematic symbol
Battery symbol: the longer line is the positive (+) terminal and the shorter line the negative (−). Set its value to the battery's voltage, e.g. 9 V, 3 V for two AA cells, or 3.7 V for a Li-ion cell. The voltage drops as the battery runs down, and a battery can deliver a lot of current if shorted, so never connect + and − directly.
