CD4160
Layout symbol
Synchronous 4-bit decade (BCD) counter that counts from 0 to 9 and can be preloaded with a starting value. Its clear input resets the count to zero right away, and a carry output lets you chain several chips, so it's often used for multi-digit counters and frequency dividers. It works like a CMOS version of the 74LS160.
