CD4026
Layout symbol
Decade counter with a built-in 7-segment decoder: it counts clock pulses from 0 to 9 and drives a common-cathode 7-segment display directly, through resistors. Its carry output lets you chain several for multi-digit counters. Tie RESET and CLOCK INHIBIT low if unused.
