Reed Switch
Schematic symbol
Switch that closes when a magnet comes near, with two metal contacts sealed in a small glass tube. Used for door and window sensors and for counting rotations. Read it like a pushbutton, with a pull-up or pull-down resistor, and be careful with the glass when bending the legs.
