BCD to 7-segment latch/decoder/driver for LCD and LED displays: Turns a 4-bit BCD number on A–D into the segment pattern a–g. LD low holds the digit, BI high blanks the display, and the phase input PH sets the output polarity: low for common-cathode LEDs, high for common-anode LEDs, or a square wave for LCDs. Same pinout as the CD4543.
