Look-ahead carry generator: Takes the carry-generate (G0–G3) and carry-propagate (P0–P3) outputs of four 74LS181 ALUs and works out their carries Cn+x, Cn+y and Cn+z at once, so a 16-bit adder does not have to wait for the carry to ripple through. G and P let you cascade to 64 bits. Same pinout as the 74182.
